Meet Yvonne Naylor COMMITTEE MEMBER

I grew up with golden Cocker Spaniels.  A fawn pug dog joined the family in 1964 and I began showing him.  He was followed by 2 blacks and a fawn bitch, Maroden Wilhelmina, the foundation bitch of Goodchance Pugs (Ellen Brown).  Studying away from home meant I wasunable to continue showing and by the time I was ready to return, I was taken over by my daughters, Rebecca and Angela.  My father was interested in administration and I followed in his footsteps.  I was treasurer for the Pug Dog Club and South Eastern Counties Toy Dog Society, both for 24 years.  I was a regular steward at Crufts until work commitments forced me to stop; I have been stewarding for the Pug Dog Club for 30 years.  For some time I was involved with the KCJO (now YKC), attending camp each year and at the same time I organised local Exemption Dog Shows.  My love of the breed continues even though I no longer own a pug.
